SHOUT Festival were the team behind bringing Birmingham it’s very own Vogue Ball by welcoming Darren Pritchard, owner of House of Ghetto. Alongside this monumental show, SHOUT Festival is the annual festival of Queer Art and Culture that spreads its Queer Joy across the city of Birmingham. SHOUT is created to both celebrate and platform work of LGBTQ+ artists and communities.

Vogue Ball

SHOUT’s first Vogue Ball has arrived. Category is: queer excellence. Club culture meets high art, as Vogue Houses come together from across the UK (including Birmingham’s very own House of Bab) to compete for dance supremacy in a catwalk spectacular pulled straight from New York City’s iconic ballroom culture. Celebrating global vogue culture and putting the cute into QTIPOC, get ready as we pose, strut, and slay in an extravaganza of costume, dance, and high drama as the fiercest voguers and performers battle it out, all hosted by queer icon Rikki Beadle-Blair. ‘An emotional whirlwind from start to finish, I left feeling elated and so proud’ LGBTQ Arts Review (for Contact Vogue Ball, Manchester)
